Gamblin Traditional Gesso

Traditional gesso is a painting ground that has its roots in antiquity. A dry mix (just add water) of rabbit skin glue, gypsum, marble dust and titanium dioxide. Makes a luminous painting surface. Enough to cover 27 sq. ft. with four coats on both sides. Suitable only for rigid panels (we recommend our (404) Untempered Masonite).
