New lower price. Gatorfoam® Laminated Foam Panels are made with a high quality rigid polystyrene foam with a heavy acid free Luxcell® facing on both sides. Use as a rigid, lightweight support for making canvas panels. Three-sixteenths thick (.188").
We don't recommend painting directly on Gatorfoam® since all foam products eventually deteriorate. Use only as a support or for framing.
NOTE: Gatorfoam® (also called Gator Board) is not the same as "Foam Core". It resists moisture and warping.
