cox staple plain Well-known Somerset artist Neville Cox has ordered several of our boxes, from the 6x8 ThumBox up to the 9x12 LapTop. He uses a variety of media, from pastel and acrylic to oils, and will be part of the Spring Show opening Sunday, April 13 at the Churchgate Gallery in Porlock. cox winter sunshine "I get my inspiration from the Somerset and Devon country-side. I par-ticularly love the coast, and what could be more spectacular than the northern edge of Exmoor. Whenever I can and in most weathers, I like to paint and sketch outdoors. Most of my work now consists of finished pochade paintings and studio work based on my sketches and photographs."cox pochadepainter2 He participates in the Somerset Art Works Open Studios program each autumn, and you can see his dramatic paintings from last year here.
