Larry Seiler

by Sarah Judson December 12, 2011

Artist, teacher, author and musician Larry Seiler lives in northern Wisconsin where snow and water play major roles in the landscape, presenting difficult challenges to the plein air painter. He also participates in the plein air forum at WetCanvas! and presents workshops. The 12x9 oil sketch shown here is from a workshop last July in Minnesota, a demo painting of Steven Beaubien at work. His website includes numerous free demos in addition to listing his DVDs and a CD ROM book about plein air painting entitled Landscape Painting- The Art of Seeing & Doing! He also has a blog and a YouTube channel.
