It's a Winner!
This 30"x24" painting, entitled Nightmare En Plein Air, by Lewis Williams won the "Best Outdoor Still Life" award for the December/January Plein Air Salon Competition...talk about changing lemons into lemonade!
Williams trained as an iconographer with Br. Robert Lentz, OFM as well as earning a BFA from Northern Arizona University and an MFA from Utah State University. He has also earned three Artist in Residence positions with the BLM. He enjoys working in all paint and drawing media, along with printmaking, sculpture and ceramics.
