Michael Anderson, Belleville IL

"The mystery of luminosity, the fascination of the eye with color and the perception of space are the sources of my inspiration whether I am painting with traditional mediums or sketching with pixels on a digital screen. It is the ability to awaken a forgotten memory, to discover a new way of seeing the familiar or the power to evoke emotion, especially happiness and awe that I am certain is the triumph of painting."

Michael Anderson is an artist and architectural illustrator who works in oil, acrylic, watercolor and also sketches in ink, Tombo markers and digital media.

His site has a page featuring his sketchbooks and also several video links.
