Palette Hack for the Campaign Box

Palette Hack for the Campaign Box

A brilliant customer just told us a new way to use the Campaign Box palette. He puts the paint out in the usual way, in the center section. But then he removes one of the sliding tops from the side sections. He prefers to mix his paint on this wooden surface (instead of the grey palette), which measures about 9-1/2" x 7". It would then be possible to hold it up to the view (or the painting) to compare the colors.

As long as you wipe the edges off before you slide it back into place, the paint won't touch anything, since the surface is recessed a quarter inch.
