Art in the Open Festival - Wexford, Ireland
Ireland's 5th annual plein air painting festival will take place this summer from July 30-August 7 in the historic harbour town of Wexford. This is an open (unjuried) event with participants from many countries. Learning, sharing and dedicated painting takes place in an atmosphere of fun, camaraderie and Irish 'craic'. Workshops and demonstrations, barbecues, music, exhibitions, awards, activities for young artists and a Quick Draw timed charity event are all planned for this, the largest plein air event in Europe.
